2007 CERN Beam Test schedule announcement

Dear colleagues,

As Sasha explained below in his e-mail, we have successfully received a beam time (9/13 - 9/27) at the CERN H2 beam line for this year. Please find schedules in the following links.

2006 Major Milestones


10/01 - 12/31 Calrorimeter fabrication started

2007 Major Milestones


Aug:  cal module assembled on pallet
Sep:  calorimeter calibrated with particle beam at CERN
Dec:  CREAM-III Flight 2007



2008 Major Milestones


Jan:  delivery & mechanical fit-check of upper structure
Mar 12:  delivery of recovered CREAM-III detector systems.
Mar-May:  refurbishment of detector systems.
Apr 14-18:  assembly of the upper structure.
May 5-9:  integration of TCD.
May 12-16:  ntegration of Chercam.
Jun. 3:  integration of the SCD
Jun. 3:  mechanical integration of the CD
May-Jun:  integration and long term burn-in.
Jul 7:  Shipping instrument to CSBF
Jul:  integrate instrument with CDM at CSBF.
Aug:  balloon-craft buildup & hang-test at CSBF
Aug:  Mission Operations Review & Mission Readiness Review.
Sep:  Ship to the Ice
