BACCUS at CERN (5/2)
- Details
The beam started around 8 pm.
We are now completing energy scans with 3 mm scans instead of 2 mm scans
(to save time on 6 mm space between straws)
with e- 35 GeV, 100 Gev, 150 GeV ...
We will finish all tests including position scans by Wednesday morning
and finish packing in the afternoon.

BACCUS at CERN (4/26)
- Details
We checked muon runs with XeCo2 this morning.
Then, we disconnected all test cables to prepare for rotating the payload.
In the afternoon, BACCUS was rotated until the-X direction was on the bottom.
It was done very smoothly.
The input gas valve was kept closed while the output one was
kept half opened to avoid any pressure inside during moving.
Some photos are below.
We will move the payload to the beam stage tomorrow morning.
However, we are told that the beam will not be available until Friday.

BACCUS at CERN (4/21)
- Details
BACCUS arrived at CERN, Meyrin, today.
It will be moved to the H2 site tomorrow.
We attended PS/SPS meeting in the morning.
The beam will be stopped for about 4 hours
on our first beam test day, 4/27, during the day time.
Before the beam test, we will test BACCUS at the other side of the beam area
(Cage H8 in 887 site) due to construction in our previous area at this time.

I talked to the engineer in charge of the trigger system and confirmed
the trigger system is set up and now ready to use.
We will move to the hostel at CERN from the one in St. Genis-Pouilly tomorrow.
