Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 2nd of December at McMurdo.
- A muon run in flight mode has been taken from ~9 AM to ~3 PM. Data are uploaded into cdps3 for analysis and plotting.
- Prashant has investigated S3 threshold value setting issue. The TCD config file is not updating well from time to time. A reset of TCD has resolved it today.
- SangEun has practiced the launch procedure from ~3 PM to ~4:30 PM. During the practice, deleted an unnecessary procedure of switching ZLO and ZHI trigger cables right before the launch.
- Flight scripts are being finalized. The CREAM-III script and IV scripts will be compared tomorrow. In principle, CREAM-IV scripts are finalized at CSBF. Will confirm with the peak hold delay values.
- Due to a bad visibility from heavy snows, we left Willie Field with 4:45 PM bus.
- There will be a Flight Readiness Review (FRR) tomorrow at 9 AM (NZT) / 3 PM (EST) between WFF/MCM/CSBF.
