Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 28th of November at McMurdo.
- Today's weather is condition 2 with no regular transportation to the Willie Field. A special bus to the LDB was arranged by David Sullivan and came to the Willie Field at 1 PM. Will return with the 5:30 PM bus.
- An instrument LPT with a direct connection the the SFC1 was done by SangEun. It took about 1 hour 12 minutes.
- After the LPT, the top SCD sparsification board problem was debugged.By replacing the two Actel chips with spare chips did not improve the data.So the whole I/O board was replaced. Then the data becomes normal. Took a peak hold delay scan data to confirm the board. The cplot shows a normal result. The data are uploaded on the cdps3.
- Muon data were taken in flight mode for about 2 hours after warming up of instrument.
- Uploaded a high statistics muon data taken yesterday to the cdps3.
- Tomorrow, there will be no works due to Thanksgiving holiday observed at the station.
