Dear,

Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 23rd of November at McMurdo.

  • CAL MB #7 temperature HSK display problem resolved by tightening the flat cable connector to the mother board side. After that, a small LPT for the calorimeter was done and OK.
  • SFC cables, thermal fan-out box cables are cleaned-up for the CPT tomorrow.
  • A LDB tour as a part of McMurdo recreation program organized by Dave Sullivan/Rich Joss took places. About 18 peoples came to see the LDB facility. After introductions at the galley, they walked through different buildings. I have introduced the CREAM briefly and explained the instrument at the payload building.
  • The top SCD will be checked tomorrow early before the CPT starts.
  • The CPT will be from the 24th (Mon)/23rd (Sun) to the 26th (Wed)/25th (Tue). SOC should be prepared during those tests. I am still checking when the TDRSS is open to the SOC. Will let you know when the SOC is needed.
  • The hang test is now planned to be on the 27th (NZT)/26th (EST).

Cheers, MooHyun.
