Dear,

Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 19th of November at McMurdo.

  • We still have a windy weather expected to coming on Thursday (Wed. in US) even though it would not be a storm.
  • Will prepare the End-to-End test tomorrow afternoon as planned.
  • TCD PXL PM#1 ADC0 problem solved by replacing the concentrator box.
    • All instruments were turned on except CAL HV. Data were taken in a flight mode successfully for about 20 minutes through a simulated TDRSS connection.
    • Tomorrow, the End-to-End test will be started from 1 PM (NZT)/7 PM (EST). Before that, the LPT with the CDM will be tried.
    • The followings are to do list before the CPT in the next week.
    • The top SCD data is unstable in the gain runs as we have seen before. Will be checked before the CPT with the CDM starts next Wednesday.
    • The calorimeter MB#7 temperature HSK display is incorrect as we have been seen. Will replace the board before the next CPT also.
    Cheers, MooHyun.
