Dear,
Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 17th of November at McMurdo.
- In the weather briefing, a bad weather is expected to coming on Thursday (Wed. in US) when we plan to do the End-to-End test with the ROCC/ESC/SOC. Will prepare the test as planned and change it if weather becomes bad.
- The pattern of stratosphere is similar to 2007 and still expect to have the vortex formed around 10-15th of December.
-
- All of LPT and CPT so far were operated by SangEun with help of Prashant and it takes longer than an experienced operator does. Expect to become fast as more tests are done.
- A batter for the CMD is replaced with a spare and works fine. Ready to be mounted under the pallet tomorrow.
- The building UPS machine with about 30 minutes of holding capacity is now ready and connected to the power line this afternoon. But it requires one day to have batteries charged. So we can use it from tomorrow.
- Tomorrow, the CPT will continue and integration of the CDM will start.
