Dear,

Here is a summary of CREAM-IV flight preparation status on the 13th of November at McMurdo.

  • The TCD dead time debugging continued with threshold value increase in the ZHi trigger. Then the even number mismatch error reduced dramatically and the live time increased to about 90% in flight mode. To understand the correct ZHi threshold values for the flight, Tyler has asked Nick/Isaac. This is done with the default cdaq code.
  • In the process of debugging the event number mismatch problem, after the ZHi trigger rate went to zero, the Chercam event number mismatch case was found to be frequent. Prashant found that the reset function when the event number mismatch happens has not been written for the Chercam yet. He wrote the code and will be tested tomorrow.
  • Tyler also confirmed that there is no light leak.
  • Two static IP addresses for SangEun's test of network in the future configuration received from Network Operations.

Tomorrow, we will work on the followings before the CPT.

  • Test of Chercam reset code related with the event number mismatch.
  • TCD code modification and test.
  • Investigation of tSCD for some of bad channels in the data which we saw from time to time during integrations.
  • Calorimeter MB#7 temperature sensor problem check. If the temperature sensor is bad, will replace with a spare board.

Cheers, MooHyun.
