Dear,

Here is a summary of CREAM-IV

  • Waste Video Make-up for those who hasn't watched the video at the on-line training was offered from 9 AM at Crary lab. SangEun and Prashant attended. For those who haven't received the waste material training certificate in the web training, please make sure that you watch the video before hand. Otherwise, you have to watch the video here at McMurdo station.
  • The tSCD sparsification board Actel chips pins are cleaned with a rubber eraser. But not much improvement than expected. Will try to investigate further on this tomorrow.
  • The TCD HSK 12 V line attenuation by a voltage divider circuit is done by Tyler. Now it can show 12 V since it does not saturate the HSK circuit any more.
  • All boxes in GSE containers (2 UMD/2 PSU) were opened up yesterday and spare boxes were stored at one of shelves. Those empty GSE crates, recovery tool and calorimeter recovery boxes are stored at a sea container.
  • Tables for the GSE computers are arranged so that they don't have to be moved when the building doors need to be open. Now it is in a final configuration.
  • Tomorrow, we will work on the followings before the CPT.
  • Investigation of tSCD for some of bad channels in the data which we saw from time to time during integrations.
  • Chercam HSK problem debugging.
    • Installation of two SSDs into the SFC and test.
    • Tightening of a loose connector in the SFC1.
    • TCD code modification and test if it is approved OK after providing more detail informations.

Cheers, MooHyun.
